100% cotton red corduroy is perfect for slacks, skirts or a jacket. The wale is the number of ridges per inch. With 8-wale fabric, adds structure and has a soft hand. The width is 58 inches and is cut to order in one continuous piece. The wale runs the length of the fabric. It is an opaque fabric but not thick making it easier to sew.
Sold by the yard.
With the ability to trap air between its fiber, corduroy is incredibly warm and the perfect fabric for keeping the cold out during the winter months. It is hard-wearing and durable.
